Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy outlines the InvisiPlate website (the “Site”) transparency in regards to Explicit Consent and Transparency

Cookies
A cookie is a small file placed in your web browser that collects information about your web browsing behavior. The use of cookies allows a website to tailor its configuration to visitor needs and preferences.

Cookies from this website do not access information stored on your computer or any personal information (i.e., name, address, email address, or telephone number). Most web browsers automatically accept cookies but you can choose to reject cookies by changing your browser settings. This may, however, prevent you from taking full advantage of the full features of the InvisiPlate website.

Cookie Firewall and Default Setting
Without your explicit permission, such as in the case of you not taking any action through the Cookie Consent Banner, the default setting of “Deny All” will be retained in place until you otherwise explicitly Accept All or Configure Cookie Permissions.

Cookies Consent and Explicit Permission
When you visit the InvisiPlate website, no matter what that first page may be, you will be presented with a Cookie Consent Banner that asks you to Accept All, Deny All, or Configure Cookie Permissions. You can modify your settings at any time by opening the Cookie Consent Banner by clicking on the banner re-configuration button located towards the bottom of every page of the InvisiPlate website.

As required by some regional and international laws, but more importantly as a matter of respecting your privacy and operating this Website transparently and in compliance with current best privacy practices, displays the cookies that the Site uses by category, for example, functional, marketing, non-identifiable analytical, and others, and each individual cookie and its function is listed.

The InvisiPlate website’s architecture and design and the analytics data stream have been engineered in such a way that personally identifiable information is not collected, and therefore, the analytical data collected regarding the navigation through the InvisiPlate website by visitors is anonymous. The metrics we use for this level of analysis are extremely limited (in the data stream we provide to Google Analytics) and only include: IP address for country, state, and city as an estimated location (not GPS Geolocation) of visitors, site visitors numbers, page views, page view time, user navigation flow, new or returning visitor, session time (the time spent from entering until leaving by a user), device type, and operating system.

This information is kept for 18 months and it impossible to delete any particular visitors information because the information is anonymous.

Third Party Tracking Cookies (and Cross-Site No Script Beacons)
Third-party cookies are cookies set by third-party services on the website you are browsing. The best way to describe Third-party cookies is to call them is cross-site tracking cookies. These cookies are used by advertisers, marketers, and external services using display ads, social media plugins, and countless website (web assets) functionality and integration services.

This is because of the way website integration has developed over the time, and many websites need to include external resources such as social media widgets, analytics tools, reviews integrations, payment gateways, and numerous other service from third-party providers. Behind the scenes for decades, these integrations have also included resources that are loaded onto an integrated website using HTML tags or JavaScript code provided by the third-party service. When users visit the website, their browser also loads these external resources, which will set the third-party cookies.

Logging in with Facebook to another website is a more obvious example of the case where cookies are dropped into your browser and your device for Facebook to track you outside of Facebook.

There are many technologies used in the development of websites over the previous decades that are filled with tracking cookies. You can set your browser to “Do Not Track” but that does not mean the request will be abided by. Google’s latest PI and PII Compliance requires the sandboxing, removal, or the interception of cross-site tracking cookies (and no script cross-site beacons). All of these actions can break the functionality and other elements of websites.

Many companies, digital service providers, and websites actively partner with hundreds of data brokers to install these tracking cookies and drop them into visitors’ browsers and devices across wide networks, networked websites, and numerous websites owned by single corporations (often through complex company structures that hide the ultimate owner).

The InvisiPlate website’s Cookie Consent Configuration Panel for visitors includes all of these third party tracking cookies that have have identified and have implemented blocking techniques Opt-In Only, or newly implemented third party cookies to add to the InvisiPlate website’s Opt-In Only Cookie Firewall.
